Get ready for the last scene in the 2009 World Series of Poker. As the year is drawing to an end one of the biggest poker event in the year, is also drawing also to the last scene on November 7.

Before Michael Jackson died he had many plans for the future, he wanted to go on a 3 year world tour, introduce a new album, make a movie, and to open a casino in Las Vegas. Though he was in debt 100 million dollars, from getting sewed from former associates. But now the movie “This is it” was predicted to bring billions of dollars to the Jackson bank, and it probably will since it is even rumored that Michael Jackson will get an Oscar for his movie.
Jackson’s Zombies already has a great uproar since 1982 when the film was produced. The “Thriller” would have even gained more popularity with the casino that was to open in Las Vegas. The Casino was to crawl with the undead based on the worldwide hit the ‘Thriller’. The film is supposedly sending chills down peoples backs even today as they watch the movie. Though compared to modern technologies some of the effects, and stage setups would be said to be extremely cheesy it did bring something new in it’s time. Well no one can say their is no business in running a casino this proves the Gun Lake Casino opening on Indian territory, in Michigan. Though the tribe is on the brink of bankruptcy, the ground breaking for a new Casino just took place yesterday, on September 17th. This a $200 million project, that the tribe has difficulty to gather, since banks have tightened standards. If you have never had seen a plan about how a casino is built here is the procedure this casino is following:
“Step one of the Gun Lake Casino will create 600 direct jobs with a total average annual compensation package of approximately $40,000; 1,000 indirect jobs; and $30 million per year in direct purchases of goods and services. Seven hundred and fifty construction jobs will be created over the course of construction.”
The Casino is scrambling to scrape together the money they need, while the Casinos in Michigan also face troubled times. Now the question that popped into my mind while reading this, is why would anybody be so set on opening a new Casino? In thees difficult financial times? Well, I guess their is still good money left out their for the casinos to acquire. Though their where many layoffs in Casinos in Michigan, where it was not unusual to lay of 100 workers at a time. But with all the financial difficulties ahead of Gun Lake Casino they still believe, in completing the new Casino. Who knows maybe this Casino will survive and flourish… after it is built, that is.

Tournament Prize, 3 new Harley bikes.
Just saw the news that their is a bike week in Las Vegas, where the give away 3 Harley motor bikes. The prize will be given away by Golden Nugget Casino. Well maybe, I am just so enthusiastic about this event since I have never played in a Vegas Casino. But the the opportunity to win something is always tempting. This event will be held from October the 1st to 14th, at the same time the Bike Fest will be held, where all the bikers will meet up.

But the reason I am writing this article is because the Commerce Casino complex held a tournament and the prize is $2 000, 000! But the good news is this event is still going since it started on Sept. the 10 and ends on the 27. Their is still time to the 27, to have a chance in winning the prize.
Since today, in the internet world many people favor online casinos over a land-based casino (including me). But this event attracted more people than any non-WSOP event, 3,967 players are expected to attend the event. This may because of the great tournament director: Matt Savage, or because summer has ended.

Since this is a new blog I thought of introducing a totally new gambling site Casino Center which gave this blog it’s name. Where the the author compares different casinos, and introduces the special events presented by the casino. Their are popular, and unknown poker and casino sites that get listed. But one of my favorite future is that it has clear and short game rules described on the Rules and Tips page.
A few negative aspects that hit my eye right away, is that it has no news page. Which is one of the key factor for these pages, and it is ‘unforgivable‘ if it is left out, on this page it is left blank. Another downside is that this page introduces the casinos on the main page with fact, what kind of games are given, what payment methods are accepted and so on. Which is fine if you like facts. :)
But a unique aspect that I found on this page is that it has a lot of plain facts on the casino/poker reviewed for example what kind of software runs behind the casino page, or the features, but it informs the players of the upcoming tournaments, or the bonuses given, etc. The other future that that is quite useful is that that useful tips are given for the games as mentioned above ‘short but sweet‘.
